What happened to 18 months is the perfect age ever? ha ha! Parenting is always a roller coaster huh?

Alex had those screaming fits when he was getting his one year molars around 18 months old. It came with 60-90 minute tantrums. Nice.

So sweet. I love that you documented all these cute milestones - because they will pass so quickly! I too love 18 months. Wyatt is just starting to do some of these things, and I am looking forward to it!

This being 3rd time around however, I always say, the stage I am presently in is my favorite. It just keeps getting more fun, if you let it!

Thanks for sharing their progress. I especially like how they are taking care of one another and concerned for one another. They are demonstrating Agape love....the purest form of love there is. Sharing and loving one another like God loves them. They share a special bond that time & miles could never destroy. Thanks again for sharing.

Time flies when we are not looking. Children are a wonderful blessing of God...enjoy and savor all of it as you can, they grow up so fast. I think it was just yesterday my darling step-son came into my life at the wonderful age of 5...this past weekend we celebrated his 15th birthday! Where did the time go? I have no clue...but take plenty of pictures, make plenty of memories, capture them on the web or a scrapbook, but remember to capture them in your heart! Parker looks victorious in this picture...go Parker...such a good boy helping Mommy like you do!

6 minutes was probably like 6 hours to their little worlds anyhow. And I love the hot chocolate on the kitchen floor afterwards. Great times, Momma!

i think all homes are works in progress to some degree. take your time, be selective and you will end up with a home you will truly enjoy. i am taking the blogging plunge myself of sorts....trying to blog my journey with God....just started and it is a work in progress as i use my neighbors computer until i get my wireless & laptop working ;o). I started following your blog thanks to my funny friend Ted. He was beaming the day he told me of the twins birth and wanted to share a piece of heaven with me. Yep those 2 lovelies are angels from the throne room of God. I have had the esteemed pleasure of logging in daily to see what these little scamps are up to. There have been days where I have felt bummed and came in to peep at the precious ones and got my spirit lifted by their antics. Whether you keep it public or private is a decision only you can make. I just wanted to say thanks for the wonderful giggles, the opportunity to pray for you and your wonderful family and thanks to Ted for giving me a glimpse of his joy!

Your blog just hit such a note with me. Time and time again I have gone back and forth with 'going private' or just not blogging at all. I love to keep my friends and family updated on the 'goings on' of the Fleming family. Then something goes on that maybe I really do want to blog about-get off my chest...and I get nervous about who is out there reading this.
For me the positives have outweighed the negatives (at least for the time being). I enjoy reading about other moms around my age that have gone through the same things. The ups and the downs, the wins and the loses. I guess it makes me feel more 'normal.' Have I used enough quotes here or what! I do look at good analytics, though and wonder who found me in Maine..
I do love your blog, though, and your stories always seem to resonate with me. I have also found inspirational and honest blogs through your blog list which have also spoke to me. If you do continue to blog, you will have a reader in me (and a friend on FB if you so desire :) )

I think everyone who blogs for any length of time goes through the same reflection on why, how, when to blog and whether to continue and in what format. Literally my blog was supposed to be for my friends and family to keep in touch on pregnancy news as we had just moved to Raleigh. But now I've created a whole network of people.

Anyway, take what you will from this. I think when you be yourself and open yourself up to new possibilities, you learn a lot about yourself and other people. My best blogfriend is a religious right-winger married to a hunter. I am a non-religious left-winger and was vegetarian when I met her. If we had met IRL, we would NEVER be friends, but over time our relationship has meant a lot to both of us.

And then when I met first blogfriend (I don't call many people blogfriend as I consider that as high an honor as friend) in real life, it was just as I expected. We stayed with her for the inauguration and it really felt like we have known each other forever. Not because of the blogging, but through blogging.

Since then I've met 4 other blogging buddies and they've always been exactly as I expect them to be. But then again, I'm not out there reading hundreds of blogs. I stick with the ones that resonate to me.

LOLOLOL looks like a fun morning! Good thing they both have a good sense of humor about it. Reminds me of a story mom told me....seems my older sister (about 2 years old) was wanting to help mommy with my older brother who was a just a baby. Sis decided to wash brother's hair, John had a full head of jet black hair...Barb used airplane glue...a tube she found close by...yep poor brother had to have his head shaved and in the winter time to boot! Was a lesson to mom & dad to be mindful of what was laying around. Thankful for you it was diaper cream and easy to clean!

Aww so cute saying cheese! Looks like Parker is doing just fine. If it wasn't monkeys jumping on the bed it would have been him kicking something or crashing his big wheel. Accidents happen and they are just that accidents. You just need to teach them a healthy balance to the fearlessness and when they get big enough you can start teaching them to FROG... fully rely on God! You are doing just fine...relax a bit.
